Taxonomies/Thesauri/Ontologies – What’s Best for Me?
February 18, 2020 @ 6:20 pm - 7:50 pm GMT
“Niké Brown, Content Enrichment Specialist at Wiley and Sons, will be leading an interactive discussion centred on defining what a taxonomy is; how is it different from a thesaurus or an ontology?”
“Participants will hopefully leave with a better understanding of the differences between these formats of controlled vocabulary which, in turn, will give them confidence to decide which format to adopt for their respective needs. This session is designed mainly for newcomers to the world of taxonomies, but all are welcome!”
